Our client is a fast growing Consumer Goods business that makes and distributes consumer electronics that have instant brand recognition in the UK. To support this fast growing business in the development and delivery of quality innovation, a Product Executive role has been created.

As a Product Executive you will work with Far East suppliers to ensure products are sourced and shipped on time and to budget. You will work closely with external suppliers and internal commercial teams to source and develop products that have high consumer appeal, meet the needs of retail customers and occupy a gap in the market. You will be tasked with looking for changes in trends and competitor activity to identify gaps and make recommendations on innovation. Job Purpose

  • To support the development and launch new product range/s and promotional items as required by sales and account management teams whilst also proposing new items that are available from the current and new suppliers.
  • To support in the management of on-going product range items with suppliers to ensure there are no delays in the supply chain at factory level.
  • To ensure products are listed correctly across multiple sales platforms both on-line and retail platform. Ensure the company's internal PIM system (Product Information Management system) is up to date and correct.
  • Prepare monthly updates on economic issues that can affect product costing

 

 

 


The ideal candidate will be of graduate calibre with at least one years experience in a product sourcing or buying role gained in a consumer goods setting. You will be a driven individual with the will to succeed and deliver projects on- time and in full. A keen eye for accuracy is as essential as excellent communication skills. You must be open to travel as you will be required to visit suppliers that are based throughout the world.
