Based away from busy city centres in Cumbria, this FMCG business is a world away from the usual suspects and offer up a culture which is team orientated, close knit and hard working, yet relaxed.  Set in beautiful country side, there is real balanced feel about the place!  You will find flexibility; a family feel to the environment and a genuine breath of fresh air! 

 

Following continued growth and significant investment this year, they’re now looking to appoint a National Account Manager/ Commercial Manager to join the Sales team to help them with their expansion and growth within Grocery Retail and wider Ecommerce channels.  In fact, where ever your creativity may take you!  Having a Branded and PL offering, they’re making a step change to become a leader in their field being more proactive with retailers rather than the other way around.

 

This is a traditional commercial management appointment with full P&L responsibility, account management and business development.  Everything you’d expect.  What they’re looking for in a candidate is:

  • Someone who already holds FMCG experience, preferably in food, who is already fully P&L responsible
  • Someone who’s worked in a manufacturing environment and can demonstrate an understanding of what works and doesn’t in regards to NPD
  • A real foodie, actively interested in market trends!
  • Top 4 Grocery Retail, wider food retail or ecommerce experience
  • Creative in nature, bringing fresh thinking with new ideas ad energy to make things happen!
