My client, based in West London, is a leading drinks manufacturer and is looking for a Junior National Account Manager - Drinks to join their global brand.

My client is a global FMCG drinks business. Manufacturing a number of well known brands and household names they continue to thrive and grow and have offices all across the world.

My client has a great culture and a track record in developing their staff through the ranks. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking for a national accounts role and is hungry and eager to learn and develop a career.

My client are strong advocates of flexible working, they will require this person to come into their West London office 2 / 3 days a week but will also allow 2 days a week from home alongside travel to customers when required.


The Junior National Account Manager - Drinks:

- Achieve sales targets by delivering the agreed annual plan

- Manage a portfolio of retail customers - managing the P&L, JBP and range reviews

- Develop high quality, multi-level relationships with customers

- Create business plans and deliver key objectives through excellent day to day account management

- Manage key brand ambassador relationships and deliver brand training and brand home hosting where required

- Support implementing annual brand marketing platforms relevant to the channel, manage training and measure performance

- Infiltrate key personnel and build strong relationships with supporting functions, such as customer sales team, credit control, logistics and planning

- Create a greater understanding of the retailers key locations and activation sites

- Perform monthly administrative duties, such as invoicing, promo pricing analysis, credit control compliance with the accounts within the customer base

- Understand market dynamics, market trends and competitor activity. Collate monthly report covering performance.


The Junior National Account Manager - Drinks:

- Experience working for an FMCG or Consumer business in a sales role

- Experience / exposure of P&L - you may have supported a NAM / Director on a P&L or have had some P&L management yourself

- Good Commercial acumen

- Retail expertise

- High levels of organisation and attention to detail, able manage a fluid list of priorities

- Strong problem solving and analytical skills, taking ownership of both challenges and opportunities, effectively evaluating situations and recommendation solutions

- Maintain high levels of energy and have a can-do attitude

- Exceptional presentation standards, particularly when representing the company in an external capacity

- Influencing and persuasion skills

- Be able to help shape the category agenda, putting the consumer at the heart of our decision-making

- Confident, clear, creative and communicative - a true team player

- Able to articulate your point in a clear and succinct manner

- Commute to West London 3 days a week

Job Offer

£30,000 - £40,000 per annum dependant on experience

15% - 20% bonus
