Business Development Manager - CBD
The Company:
Our client is a premium brand of CBD products tailored to a wide range of consumers, offering a wide variety of products from Creams, Balms, Drops to Vape Liquids. Alongside Top Quality products our client have fantastic marketing budgets behind them with an impressive board of directors who have been extremely successful across a number of industries within the UK. With already established relationships in Pharmacy chains & connections with the multiples our client is going to be a well-recognised name within the CBD industry
The Opportunity of the Business Development Manager :
We have a vacancy for a Territory Manager / Business Development Manager, to manage a range of clients from Pharmacies, Vape Stores, Gyms & Health stores. You will have a fundamental role to play in gaining distribution for our client & also working with your clients in training them on the theory behind CBD (support & training provided)
The Role of the Business Development Manager:
The primary function of this role is to develop, train & manage customers within the Pharmacies, Vape Channel, Gyms & Heath Stores in line with client standards, policy, performance and strategy and to obtain, maintain and develop profitable business with a specific account portfolio within defined market categories. You will:
- Managing existing customers within various channels including Pharmacies, Gyms, Health Stores & Vape Stores (independents & groups)
- Build client base by bringing on new customers to your portfolio
- Merchandise the brand within your stores, train & educate staff on how best to sell & represent the product.
- Supporting with NPD
- Analyse shopper insights and behaviours relevant to the channel
- Support in trade shows throughout the year
What we’re looking for:
- Hungry, driven & confident adapting to a variety of channels
- A history of consultative selling/selling in a new product/service
- Experience of selling into Pharmacies or Vape Stores (desirable not essential)
- PC literate - Basic Word, Intermediate Excel, Basic PowerPoint
- Minimum of 2-4 years Sales experience within a field based role (ideally selling in new products/concepts)
- Excellent communicator with the desire and adaptability to succeed
- Proven negotiation skills in order to interface effectively external clients and customers.
- Focussed and organised approach to relationship development
- To have previous experience of identifying opportunities outside of their direct remit in order to add value to the wider business.
- Open to candidates outside of FMCG
