My client is a successful, ambitious and forward-thinking company with an in-house design team that has been supplying trend lead products for the interior market for over 20 years. They are a fast moving fast paced business which has grown year on year and going through an exciting transformation. The business encompasses passionate and driven people who can raise the bar and drive, through entrepreneurial spirit, leading innovations.

Due to growth, a great opportunity has arisen for a proactive, dynamic and charismatic sales professional to join their dedicated and hard-working team. As National Account Manager you will be responsible for expanding the customer portfolio within the builders and decorative merchant channel. There is a small account base which you will inherit but 90% of the role will be new business lead. As a National Account Manager, as well as through your team, you will also be personally responsible for managing and developing the relationship with the National Accounts Trade outlets within the wallpaper and home decoration category. This is an exciting time to join a growing business where you will be in a position to make an impact and progress further in the organisation.

To be successful for this position you will have experience of the trade channel such as Travis Perkins, Toolstation, Screwfix Brewers, Dulux and PPG. Must have strong new business skills with a proven track record of opening builders/decorative merchant accounts. Must be a self-starter, ambitious and enthusiastic.
