The Organisation
A fantastic opportunity for a Sales Manager to join an International Trading business that specialises in the distribution of core grocery products through a network of leading distributors.
The Role
The successful candidate will be joining the sales team, with a primary focus on building relationships across Europe.
Key responsibilities will be:
- Develop and expand the companies foodservice / wholesale portfolio in Europe via distribution, 3rd parties and End Users;
- Develop existing relationships in these markets, ensuring regular visits to the region
- Identify new Import, Wholesale and Distributors in the region, and negotiating terms
- Be the expert on the region, and able to regularly share information about key trends, new products, relationships etc on a regular basis
The Person
- Previous experience in international sales ideally within a grocery / distributor
- Previous experience in a target & KPI driven environment
- A network within the Asian trade is preferable
- A pro-active attitude toward sales and a desire to succeed
