THE ROLE: As a Strategic Territory Sales Manager, your remit will be to sell an exciting array of products into both the NHS and private hospital sector. Dealing with a number of different points of contacts, ranging from Decontamination Officers through to Chief Financial Officers, your remit will be to work on large projects selling a range of solutions used for both safety of the patients and to protect the hospital. With some orders coming in at over £5million this is very much a solution led sale with lead times varying from months to years. The role of Strategic Territory Sales Manager will see you working on not only new leads but also developing a pipeline of business with 3 to 4 deals already pending.
THE PERSON In order to be considered for the role of Strategic Territory Sales Manager you must be driven, ambitious, consultative and with a strategic mindset. This is not a transactional sell so you must be used to longer lead times and patient in your approach to business. Ideally our client would love to interview those sales candidates who come from a medical background, however, this is not a pre-requisite at all as they have also opened up their brief to include Account Managers who are looking for step up in their career: Key Account Managers who have sold in different industries and have a genuine desire to enter medical sales. Although our client is open as to the background and what you may have sold previously, you must be able to demonstrate that you have worked on large accounts and dealt with big order values in order to be considered for this exciting position.

- Basic: £42,000 - £46,000
- Bonus - £15,000 - £20,000
- Car: Company Car
