The Role

Beer Hawk B2B has experienced massive growth over the past 2 years. The Senior National Account Manager vacancy is an exciting and challenging opportunity for a highly motivated professional to lead a dynamic sales and marketing team, driving brand awareness and profitable growth across our B2B channels. In this role you will be responsible for the effective management of all activities and responsibility associated with our £8.7m portfolio of B2B business as outlined below. Detailed financial metrics including P&L management, a strong emphasis on ownership of the business unit, a desire to grow revenue in line with targets and seek out new opportunities will define success in this role. A deep understanding of channel dynamics, the customer and what is required to grow market share is critical to keep the Beer Hawk brand ahead of the strong growth curve that we are already on. Relishing customer contact and building relationships in an organized, focused but entrepreneurial approach is critical to the success of this role.

Key responsibilities:

o   Full responsibility for account management of our B2B Retail channel - covering key accounts such as Amazon, Ocado and Sainsbury’s.

o   Lead a team of 4 to deliver success in all Beer Hawk B2B channels

o   Drive Beer Hawk brand awareness utilising new pack formats to enhance and grow the craft category

o   Deliver new opportunities with major UK retailers (including traditional “bricks & mortar” retailers trying to grow online, online pureplayers and new market entrants)

o   Work with key retail managers in the ZX ecosystem to align strategy and deliver growth

o   Drive sales performance, market share and the Beer Hawk brand representation/discoverability on partner sites

o   Achieve sales targets and business KPIs set for each retail partner

o   Lead Beer Hawk’s understanding of retail partners strategies, operations and shoppers in order to create and execute effective strategies and plans

 

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Minimum 3-5 year National Account Management experience is essential, preferably within an FMCG environment
  • Exceptional people skills with a demonstrated ability to establish & activate great networks.
  • High level of commercial literacy
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, effectively managing ever changing workloads
  • Demonstrable literacy and numerical skills
  • Deep analytical skills and a proven ability to identify opportunities through data.
  • Effective negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • An entrepreneurial ’can do’ attitude
  • Attitude to continuous learning and application of best practice
  • Passionate about craft beer!
  • Proven track record of working independently and delivering results
  • Effectively plans ahead and has exceptional time management
