Territory Manager – Farm Shops and Delis

£27,578 to £30,158 plus bonus and company car

Our client already enjoys an enviable reputation in the premium soft drinks sector with some of the country’s best loved soft drinks brands. Following a substantial investment by the Dutch parent company our client is in the process of taking over a small wine business and merging the two product portfolios. It is anticipated the take up of the wine products will be rapid, as the product very much sits alongside the soft drinks range, and has considerable appeal as a gifting item.

To be considered for this exciting position you should have experience of selling into either independent farm shops, delis or garden centres ( mainly single site / owner operated businesses but maybe with experience of selling to some small independent multi-site businesses as well ). It is essential you are a truly great relationship builder as the product, if promoted actively, almost sells itself. This is not a hard sell operation, and would very much not suit candidates used to having to push too hard for the sale. You will of course need to be proactive, disciplined and hard working if you want to maximise your success.

It would be ideal if your previous category experience was either from premium soft drinks, alcoholic drinks, food gifting, gifting confectionery or similar.

In return for your dedication and effort, our client is prepared to pay a basic salary of between £27,578 to £30,158 plus bonus and company car. Career prospects are excellent for the right candidates.

The role covers the north and Midlands so there is a substantial amount of driving and the occasional night away. You will also be required to attend a sales meeting once a month near Leeds, and to attend the International Conference once a year in Holland ( three days ).
