Dale Farm Limited is the largest dairy business in Northern Ireland, cooperatively owned by over 1300 farmers, with a presence in every dairy category under the leading brands of Dale Farm, Dromona, Lakeland and Spelga. The company has 14 sites across the UK and Ireland, producing and distributing a wide range of dairy products nationally, as well as exporting to more than 45 countries worldwide. In addition to Dale Farms branded business, they also provide all the leading retailers with a range of own label dairy products. Dale Farms ever expanding Foodservice business supplies the catering trade with both branded and own label solutions.

Dale Farms success is built around their people, as they embark on an ambitious transformation journey, they are looking to recruit a Key Account Manager with a strong foodservice background.


This role will report into the Foodservice Senior Commercial Manager and will cover Scotland, North of England and the Midlands. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Achieving sales / margin target to maximise profitable sales
  • To be able to identify, deliver and manage new business opportunities for both branded and own label
  • Build and maintain effective customer relationships
  • To work cross functionally with NPD, Logistics and Marketing to ensure excellent customer service and winning propositions
  • To deliver effective budgeting and forecasting for nominated accounts

To apply for this role, you must have worked within a field sales role for at least 5 years. If you have experience working within foodservice but don’t have a dairy background, we would still like to hear from you. However, you must have a proven track record of winning new business, profitably managing accounts and be competent in analysing financial data to make decisions that improve sales.
