THE ROLE: As a home-based Business Development Manager covering the Central East region of Scotland, you'll be selling the service of property searches for the conveyancing process by Solicitors in the purchase of houses and land. Your client base will therefore largely be law firms, with additional time spend with local authorities and public organisations such as Transport Scotland and Network Rail. There is a combination of account management and prospecting for new business expected.


THE PERSON: To be considered for the role of Business Development Manager the key criteria is experience of solution selling of a business/professional service - ideally within the property or legal sectors. You must be intelligent, articulate, insightful with a natural relationship building style.

THE PACKAGE FOR AREA SALES MANAGER:

Basic: £30,000 to £40,000

Bonus: 40% OTE

Car: £4,500 pa allowance

Benefits: Mobile, Laptop, Credit Card, Pension, 25 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays)
