As one of the fastest growing, leading independent foodservice operators in the UK, this company currently supplies a range of products into over 1500 customers throughout the UK. They are now looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to join their already high performing team. This company has an extremely low staff turnover and continues to invest in their staff through in-house training & development.
This role will report into the Sales Director. You will be responsible for identifying and bringing on new business within your area. Your time will be split between the office and visiting potential customers.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Identify and convert and new business opportunities
- Work collaboratively with retailers and distributors
- Build and maintain relationships with all new customers
- To communicate all sales activities with the team
- Development of business plans in line with strategic aims and agreed parameters
- MUST have a background in Foodservice
- MUST have proven track record of winning new business
- MUST have driving license
