Account Manager | Agribusiness
We are working with a thriving, unique business based in the East of England providing a critical service to local arable farmers across quite a broad area. They are in the process of adding another experienced Account Manager to their established Agricultural team.
This type of role will see your time split between managing existing clients and building your own strong relationships to increase market share. The business has a brilliant reputation and a great client base and are always looking for new opportunities to offer their services. During the busy periods your time will mostly be spent on account management and ensuring great service levels but during the slower periods, the aim will be to try and increase the currently client base and establish new contacts.
This role will also enable you to go out and meet with existing clients where possible along with attending shows and other agricultural events in the local area to promote the business and further your client base.
The successful candidate will have the following:
A degree or equivalent level qualification in either agriculture, agribusiness or a similar sector.
A minimum of 3 years' experience working in a commercial role within the agri-food supply chain.
Great Microsoft Office, communication and written skills.
We are interested in hearing from account managers or those currently working in a commercial agricultural position who have regular communication with the agricultural sector. The salary will be commensurate with experience and there is also a car, pension and bonus available.
