The Client

Our client is a growing and highly acquisitive food group with multiple sites across the North of England. Providing both brand and own label products to the UK and international market they are an established brand in their category. They are part of a growing Group that has increased it`s market presence through a mixture of organic growth and M&A activity.

They are looking so strengthen their operating board with the appointment of an International Sales Director to continue their export offering.

The Role

The role will take Global P&L responsibility for the international business as well as owning the continued development of the vision, strategy and roadmap across all new and existing territories.

• Drive current international territories to deliver on growth targets
• Manage a small team of Business Managers to achieve objectives
• Lead and management of overseas brand, contract and retail own brand strategy
• Joint business planning and customer alignment strategies
• Market development and identification of new target geographies
• Global networking with trade and other stakeholders to continuously identify routes to grow business
• Overseas brand strategy development and support
• Alongside senior Operations team, coordinate customer service aligning to campaigns, promotions, launches and other activity

The Person

• Strong commercial leadership in an International role within an FMCG business.
• Ability to be ‘hands on’ and mix the operational with the strategic
• Strong Stakeholder management experience
• Ability to travel internationally - likely to be 30-40% of the time
• Experience of brand and own label would be desirable
