This family owned beauty business has enjoyed extensive growth for a number of years and is currently making pivotal changes to their supply chain to ensure this continues throughout the current economic climate. Turning over +£1 billion worldwide, this well-known brand have subsidiary’s in 90+ countries and partner with a number of distributors. With a headcount of around 20 based in their London head office, they still enjoy an autonomous small business environment where all employees are visible and contribute to strengthening and growing their UK business.

As Supply Chain Manager, you would be responsible for managing the supply chain department consisting of a Supply Chain Analyst and Co-ordinator. Reporting into the Commercial Director, this is a pivotal role within the company with a great deal of visibility across all departments and levels. Additional responsibilities include:

Ensure stock levels are accurately reflected in SBO, including regular stocktake, resolving reconciliation issues.

Understand financial and business impact of stock and supply chain; proactively troubleshoot and resolve RGA, debit notes and discount issues, being the first point of contact with retailers.

Work closely with retailers on new product launches to ensure best practice from delivery through to availability in store.

Monitor and track future de-listing of products to ensure we are running down stock within the required timelines and work in conjunction with the commercial team.

Proactively identify and implement process improvements, taking initiative to understand flow-on impact of supply chain to the rest of the business.

To be considered for the position you must have people management experience, ideally within a beauty, cosmetics or personal care company, as well as having the ability to work with such software platforms as SAP/SBO.
