As one of the leading food manufacturers in the UK, this company supply a range of Bakery and Ingredient products into the top UK retailers and have been doing so for over 20 years.
They are now looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to join their high performing team. You would be joining a fun, lively and dynamic team that work hard to get results. This role is primarily office based and will report into the Sales Director. You will be required to win new business across all sectors, including retail, foodservice and wholesale
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Identifying new opportunities
- Work collaboratively retailers and distributors
- To be able to convert sales opportunities in line with sales and profit targets
- Build rand maintain relationships with all new customers
- To communicate all sales activities with the team
- Development of business plans in line with strategic aims and agreed parameters
- MUST have a background in FMCG with Grocers/Retailers
- MUST have proven track record of winning new business
- MUST have driving license
- Background in bakery preferred, all food backgrounds considered.
