Cartiere Carrara are a very successful family owned tissue manufacturer, a top four brand within the industry in Europe with their brand "bulky soft". Their continued success and growth has led to expansion of their B2B operation into the UK.

High quality hand towels, kitchen rolls, toilet paper, handkerchiefs, facial tissues, tablecloths and napkins are the fruit of their passion, handed down from generation to generation, together with highly specialized staff and investment in high-performance machinery. This is a business selling both branded and private label products.

They are one of the leading European producers and processors of tissue paper. Thanks to their integrated process. They produce semi-finished products and transform them into a vast range of finished products, destined for the professional and consumer markets, distributed to 47 countries.

Job Description

They key responsibilties will be:

  • Establishing long term relationships within the HORECA channels
  • Build, maintain and grow regional and national wholesaler relationships
  • Reporting into Sales Director
  • Business development (80%) and account management (20%)
  • Building the well-established European brand into the UK market
  • Working alongside wholesalers to develop key end users of the product
  • Working to agreed deadlines and targets
  • Carry out product training, and present to key wholesaler teams in house and in the field

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have:

  • FMCG sales experience selling into HORECA channel
  • Working knowledge and experience working with regional and national wholesalers
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Able to work independently, as this is a home based role
  • Self-starter with a real hunger for success
  • Management experience is preferred
