Wholesale and Catering Manager | Fresh Produce | Kent

We are working with one of the fastest growing fresh produce businesses in the country who, as a result of their growth, have an opportunity to further develop their non-retail division. They are looking for a fresh produce trader who can help them extend their reach into Wholesale and develop further relationships with the catering businesses as well. Knowledge of their specific products is not essential, but good experience with fresh produce in general is!

The Job:

Marketing the companies own produce to markets around the country, but also utilising your experience to introduce other products as opportunities arise.
Working closely with the Supply Chain team to ensure deliveries are on schedule and can be delivered to customer without incident.
Managing the processes from start to finish and taking full ownership of delivery within your department.

The Candidate:

Must have experience in fresh produce and have dealt with the main wholesale markets around the country. Experience of working with some of the major caterers would be an advantage as well.
Will be a good negotiator with a proven track record of delivering results.
Will ideally have access to a variety of suppliers who require an outlet for their products.
