Commercial Executive- Fast track career development opportunity
We are working with one of the UK’s leading specialist fresh produce companies and are searching for a driven Commercial Executive to help drive the business ahead and to support the Commercial Manager in further developing critical grocery customer relationships.
They are a business supplying a portfolio of tasty, premium fresh produce into retail grocery & on-trade and are progressing through a period of continued growth. Due to an internal move, they have identified the need to recruit an entrepreneurial and driven Commercial Executive.
This is an entry level commercial role which is perfect for someone who wants to progress their career further and by working for this large multi-site group there is clear opportunities for growth.
As a Commercial Executive you will gain fantastic exposure to all aspects of FMCG sales and will be able to develop a strong understanding of different systems and ways of generating different customer accounts across the grocery retail channel.
Based in the South East/East Midlands office with occasional travel to customer meetings on an ad hoc basis, you will be helping to support customer development plans and help manage the commercial administration within the company.
The ideal candidate will have customer contact experience working within the food industry and ideally have experience of exposure to retail customers. Fresh produce knowledge is desirable but not essential. With good IT skills, the ability to work within a team and strong interpersonal skills, this role would be ideal for anyone looking to progress themselves.
