Salary - £45000 - £55000 + company car, bonus and benefits.

Walk into any good quality restaurant or grocery store these days and you are bound to see a great selection of deli meats, cheeses, pate’s, pasta’s etc. Products like Chorizo, Salami, Prosciutto and Pancetta are atop many a pizza, covering many a sharing platter and filling a range of sandwiches across the UK and further afield…

We are currently searching for a National Account Executive to join a leading international manufacturer and supplier of dairy and charcuterie products – a major growth market. Established for over 40 years the company have a wealth of experience within high quality Dairy and Mediterranean style food from Southern Europe and, following the acquisition of a major Foodservice business, are looking to expand their offering within the UK.

The role of National Account Executive will involve supporting the existing National Accounts team across Foodservice accounts, primarily HORECA. Expect to be spending plenty of time out on the road visiting customers across the UK armed with a variety of delicious samples from the extensive product portfolio!

As a successful candidate, ideally you will have direct have some light experience of developing business within Foodservice perhaps dealing with independents or smaller regional accounts. Additional experience across the Education & Healthcare sector would also be valuable but not essential.  

Ideally you will be tenacious, ambitious and driven - the perfect candidate will have an entrepreneurial edge and drive new ideas relating to business growth both in the UK and Internationally. A passion for high quality food is a must! This is a highly autonomous role where you will have great flexibility but also the support and guidance of a passionate, reputable family run business with a fantastic existing client base.

West Midlands location would be a big preference but home base working could be considered for exceptional candidates.

You will also receive a basic salary in the region of £28,000 - £30000 + bonus/commission, company car, pension and healthcare.
