2018 was another fantastic year for Burts. We continued the upward growth of 2017 - £32 million in sales and rising, we added popcorn, nuts and 110 new people to the Burts family with the acquisition of Savoury & Sweet Ltd in Leicester and we changed our name. More in line with our broader range of award-winning snacking products we’re now officially known as Burts Snacks – but we’re still the Burts we’ve always been, full of flavour and tradition, innovative and great to work for. Bring on 2019……

This is all part of our plan to become the UK’s leading privately owned premium snacking company. We continue to source the best potatoes to create amazing and best loved favourites such as Seasalt and Cheese & Onion, as well as Firecracker Lobster, Smoked Crispy Bacon and working alongside our brands partners Guinness®, Hobgoblin and our newest addition from 2018 Jim Beam®. We’ve healthy snacking products such as Quinoa Crinkles and Lentil Waves, and with S&S we now have access to a whole new world of popcorn, nuts and other potential healthy snacks. Never ones to rest on our laurels, with our ambitious plans for 2019 and beyond, we now need to make an addition to our National Account Management team to handle our Discounter business – and that’s where you come in……

We like to keep things simple – so we want an activity driven, authentic individual with real drive and ambition looking to prove themselves in the role. We’ll need you to have an existing track record in FMCG Sales and Account Management, either in a National Account Executive/Manager or Category Manager role. We work really closely with all of our customers both new and current, growing strong commercial partnerships based on outstanding innovation and service levels, so passionate and enthusiastic relationship builders (who are good with the numbers, Excel spreadsheets and everything else a NAM role entails) are the right fit for our tight-knit team.

Just as importantly you will be looking to join a business like ours - brand and value driven, and in a serious sustained period of growth. We’re incredibly proud of our heritage, our methods and ultimately our chips, and we want you to be to.

We’d also like to see you in our Head Office in Plymouth a couple of days a week for your training and development (and because we're nice people to work with) so you’ll need to be living within a reasonably commutable distance or be OK with a night or 2 away from home in a nice hotel round the corner.
