They have seen significant growth over the last few years with innovation and the growth within new channels with plans to double the turnover over the next couple of years, and then double again! They are the largest health and beauty business within their category supplying majority of the top 4 retailers including high street, discounters and others.
As the successful National Account Manager you will have full responsibility for a number of Grocery accounts, including promotional plans, listing and distribution of NPD, securing shelf space in line with market share and/or category objectives. You will be involved and responsible for developing and implementing a clear defined channel strategy for your account base. You will also be expected to pro-actively track performance of your account(s) understanding the key drivers of the performance and working closely with the National Account Managers and the cross functional team to implement corrective action to deliver against the P&L target and strategic plan.
The ‘ideal’ FIT:
- Have experience within an Account Manager position.
- Have a willingness to learn and be challenged to think differently as well as the ambition to progress your career
- Have excellent commercial & numeracy skills
- Be able to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast paced environment
- Be a brilliant communicator & networker
- Preferably be degree educated or equivalent
Our client is paying a competitive salary and package to attract the right person.
Home based contract, must be able to access East Midlands head office.
