About the Job:
This role is all about driving sales and brand presence across the independent garden trade in the East of England. You will utilise your experience in selling to independent garden centres to deliver commercial results and sales growth throughout the region. You will be able to identify potential gaps in a product range to fulfil consumer needs and articulate this to buyers and owners to gain listings. You will understand the garden centre trade and the seasonality of the sector and be able to foresee potential falls in sales or areas of a range that could perform better at different times of the year to promote accordingly. You will be hands on and be able to build relationships with people across the centre to drive sales, effective merchandising etc.

The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will either be working in a garden centre and be looking to move into a sales role, or will be in a role selling to independent garden centres. You will be driven, a good rapport builder, commercial savvy and a team player. You will need to be able to communicate effectively at all levels, from buyers and owners, to staff, and internal stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:
Experience in selling to the independent garden centre trade. Commercially switched on with a track record of delivering results.
