The role as National Account Manager is integral to further growth across the UK Retail & Hospitality channels in defining future strategy as well as maintaining & growing current key, national accounts.

Client Details

Our client are a market leading manufacturer of a range of consumer goods to retail, hospitality & leisure sectors. They are an innovator in their field across the UK & European Retail market & continue to show impressive growth, with this role integral to further development in this channel.


The role as National Account Manager will be responsible for the following;
  • Managing select Grocer and/or Retail accounts with full P&L responsibility
  • Drive relationships with senior buyers
  • Work with key stakeholders internally & externally across Sales, Marketing & Finance
  • Provide a consultant and solution-led approach to maximise revenue opportunities
  • High-level of account management & business development within chosen accounts
  • Drive external sales & marketing opportunities at trade shows & networking events


To be successful as National Account Manager, we are looking for the following profile;
  • Strong National Account Experience with full P&L responsibility
  • Driven, self-motivated & highly commercial in approach
  • Proven sales results & ability to provide key, multiple solutions to a range of clients
  • Strategic-thinker & strong ability to influence senior, decision makers
  • Ability to work cross-functional with Commercial, Marketing, Operations & Finance
  • Commutable to the West Midlands
