Our Client distribute and sell a range of confectionery products. They develop business by selling display stands full of sweets to garden centres, visitor attractions and Farm Shops.
They are now looking for a Business Development Manager/Key Account Manager
This is what they are looking for :
It is essential that candidates have evidence of having had some structured training and understand the essential skill sets for being an Area Manager / Territory Manager, namely ; steps of the call, call preparation and objective setting, questioning and summary, journey planning, handling objections. And above all they are looking for people who enjoy selling.
Our Client will happily consider candidates from any industry background as long as they have been well trained by a recognisable Business in terms of structured sales techniques
The company sell into mainly garden centres, tourist attraction and Farm shops and our client would prefer somebody who has exposure to at least one of these channels. The customer base is a mix of independent / owner operated businesses as well as some Regional Multiple/Key Accounts and the jobholders will be dealing with anybody from a part time sales assistant to a shopkeeper to business owner / director/buyer. Candidates can be from any category although related categories would obviously be preferred eg confectionery, premium food products, gifts, cards, garden related etc. However our Client will also consider proactive and structured salespeople from any disciplines background eg Office Stationery, Advertising Space etc
Living location ( ideally within 50 miles of Leeds )

. No further west than Huddersfield.
. No further east than Goole.
