Off-Trade Sales Manager

Location: Home office, UK (within 2.5-hour commute of Cambridge)

This newly created role is a unique opportunity to join a highly regarded, high growth, high capability business, to really make a fresh mark on the industry and create the next phase of outstanding for Cambridge Distillery.

THE ROLE

This role will balance both the strategic and the executional sides of account management and is an opportunity to control the whole off-trade sales process.

Off- trade is a relatively new area of growth for Cambridge Distillery, where the brand presence has historically grown from Michelin starred restaurants, prestige hotels & world-famous cocktail bars, as well as British institutions such as the House of Lords and BA Concorde Lounge.  The successful candidate needs therefore to have experience of establishing business from a blank canvas.

THE PERSON

Applicants should have strong commercial experience across a wide range of customer types, including off-trade clients.

You will have a wide breadth of customer contact: coordinating top-to-top meetings to group buyer level, account management to outlet level, business development, as well as building relationships with marketing contacts.

The successful applicant will be someone who can utilise previous experience to really accelerate their impact in a growing business.

Experience balancing the drive to create new business in addition to building current business, as well as an appreciation of the different commercial behaviours required to build equity and commercial growth, is crucial to success in the role.

Applicants with experience selling premium and luxury products will be at a distinct advantage.
