Finance Manager

We are proud to be working with a family run business, who have grown significantly in recent years as they look to appoint a Finance Manager to join their team in Kent. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team of a leading grower and packer of fresh produce.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for running the finances across two of their sites (travel between these two sites would be expected).

As the Finance Manager you will be responsible for:
Producing and reporting reliable and accurate financial and management accounts and presenting these to the board.
Cash management and forecasting (including foreign currency).
Working closely with associated companies on levies and grants.
Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Adhoc projects (including 2 recent company set ups)
Preparation of reports for the monthly finance meeting.
Maintaining fixed asset/HP registers and applying depreciation.
Maintaining leasing agreements and loans with appropriate beneficiaries.
Improving the 3-way match, by implementing new software, to achieve clean and accurate ordering, receipt and payment for goods and services.
Oversee the aggregation and consolidation of all financial data across the 2 sites using multiple computer systems.

The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified or qualified by relevant experience
Commercial acumen and experience working within operational teams.
Advanced Excel and ERP knowledge (experience implementing ERP systems a bonus).
Have the ability to work to tight deadlines.
Have budgeting and financial planning & reporting experience.
Able to demonstrate excellent team/project work experience.
