National Account Manager – National Pub Groups

Salary: £45k - £50k per annum. 30% bonus, car or £6,500 cash allowance, matched contribution pension scheme and healthcare.

Location: Completely home-based with an expectancy to be in the office once a month.

We are recruiting a fantastic National Account Manager role managing the National Pub Groups for a globally recognised Spirits company. The business has a prestigious heritage here in the UK and have a strong presence within the On and Off trade sector, establishing themselves as a true ‘challenger brand’ to the top tier spirits companies. Due to a successful 2018 they are looking to invest further in their On-Trade team and are now seeking an ambitious and innovative National Account Manager with experience of managing the National Pub Groups to join the team. Being completely home-based you will have the autonomy to make the role your own and implement your strategy across the entire account base.

National Account Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead the commercial delivery across the account base ensuring the company and customer are aligned on key projects to ensure effective communication and implementation.
  • Ensure any JBP / Trading agreements with the customers are mutually beneficial arrangements which drive the business forward in a profitable way.
  • Leading the Channel agenda to develop & drive activation of key brand & category projects
  • Establish relationships internally to ensure full alignment with Supply Chain, Commercial Finance and Marketing
  • To identify opportunities within the customer that we can own strategically or exploit tactically that enhances our standing and drives future profitable growth.
  • Ensure “Best in Class” execution at point of purchase

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Minimum 5 years FMCG sales experience, ideally within drinks.
  • Min 3 years Customer exposure, at Head Office level, preferably on trade focused.
  • Track record of presenting, negotiating and selling.
  • Above average Excel & Powerpoint skills.

You will have plenty of opportunities to progress, the business has an abundance of examples demonstrating internal progression.
