The Company: This business does not target the "mass market", however aims to sell quality products with excellent ingredients to selective retail partners. With steady cumulative growth since it's inception 10 years ago, they continue to expand by looking to add to a successful sales division.

The Role: As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for a North region whilst working from home and in the field. You will be selling this first-class range of products through the high end independent resellers including farm shops and garden centres. You will be given a set of realistic sales targets and KPIs whilst being rewarded financially for your results. A combination of Key Account Management and New Business hunting is expected.

The Person: The ideal candidate for this role will be well sales trained, with a solid grounding in FMCG, foodservice or general business to business sales. You should have sold to independent retailers / wholesalers in the past - and have evidence of longevity in your sales roles. You must be comfortable with diary planning, sales reporting and CRM management - together with occasional required nights away from home. It is imperative that you are outgoing, highly self-motivated and a natural relationship builder.

Basic Salary of £34,000 to £40,000
Bonus of up to £10,000 OTE
