Excellent opportunity for an ambitious graduate with 12 months experience to join a leading branded food business.

This business is a leading branded business with instantly recognisable products which are sold all over the world. Working within this business will give you a real insight into procurement and give you all the tools to enable you to develop a long-term career in a business that is entrepreneurial and offers fantastic benefits to entice the best talent.

They are now looking for a Junior Buyer to support the Packaging procurement team in the UK business. Working as part of a talented team you'll help drive the development of the packaging category through actively collating and processing data and looking at any areas of resolution. You'll also manage the supply base making sure that they are working within guidelines and will be the first point of contact in relation to any issues from a procurement point of view. Other responsibilities include a small area of category spend management and support any group wide procurement activities.

You will need to be degree educated, or equivalent, with a real sense of drive and ambition. Ideally, you will have previous experience of working within a procurement function and be looking for your next move within a larger, more corporate environment. Good Excel skills are essential.
