Our Client supplies a range of Garden Related products to the Retail channel. A vacancy has arisen for a Key/National Account Manager to manage Tesco, Asda, Morrisons and some National Discount Retail accounts. All accounts will be managed at Head Office level.
All the product is bespoke to the various retail customers, and they take individual briefs from customers, and then get the far east suppliers to manufacture to order, and ship FOB to the retailers.
It’s therefore an essential that candidates have had plenty of experience taking a product brief from a customer and then project managing the new product from drawing board to first order.
Candidates will need to have had exposure to any of the top four multiple grocers at head office level. This is an essential.
Exposure to either the discounter’s channel, or DIY sheds would be a bonus but not an essential ( the likes of Dunelm, Home Bargains / Tommy Morris, B & Q ).
Candidates must have experience of related categories/products that have been sourced from any part of the Far East, so pots, pans, garden furniture, gardening, Christmas lines / trees / decorations, toys etc.
This is an office based role ( about 4 days each week in the office in Gloucestershire and one day per week out on the road ). Candidates need to have easy access to the office so candidates should live within the triangle created by joining Worcester to Bristol to Swindon.
Remuneration £35k to £45k plus bonus ( between 5 to 7.5% typically ). They also operate a lucrative mileage scheme paying 45 p per mile for the job holder to use their own car.
