International Key Account Manager – France / Spain - SME fine food business

Office based - West London

My client is a family-owned SME food business who have been at the forefront of bringing ethnic specialities and organic fine foods into the UK mainstream.

This is an exciting phase of growth for the company so continue to build they are looking to recruit an International Key Account Manager to focus on developing strategically important regions across Europe.  

You will be joining an entrepreneurial team who are passionate about their business and their products.

This role reports into the Sales and Marketing Director.

Main responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and developing sales and promotions in key international markets direct to major retailers/multiples, and through health food and retail distributors
  • Implementing marketing activities to customers within an agreed budget
  • Planning and organisation of international exhibitions and trade fairs. 2/3 times per year
  • Travel to key markets 2/3 times per month

You will have:

  • A strong background in the organic and natural food & drinks sector, with experience of selling similar products
  • Track record of success developing food & drinks brands in France / Spain / Italy through a distributor network and direct to retail
  • Ability to travel in the UK and abroad as needed
  • Fluent in English is essential. French and Spanish speaking is an advantage
