The Role
We are handling and rare and exceptional opportunity for a senior international sales manager with experience of selling directly into leading retailers in Germany. This is an exciting role working for an established, respected and internationally focused British manufacturer of private label FMCG that has long enjoyed success in developing European markets.
The International Sales Manager for Germany will be responsible for managing both existing and new private label accounts with leading retailers in the country. Products are sold into German retailers directly with a small, in-house accounts team which will be managed by the Germany Sales Manager.
This is NOT a home-based position. Suitable candidates will live within a commutable distance of North West England or be prepared to relocate.

The Package
The business will design a package to attract the right candidate. It is anticipated that the basic salary will be around £55-70,000 (flexible to suit the selected candidate) plus package.
The Person
For this international sales position, fluency in Germany is a prerequisite as is previous experience of dealing directly with multiple retailers.
The client considers the skill set to be transferable so product sector experience is not a primary concern. Any FMCG product that is sold into multiple retailers (food, drink, housewares, personal care, nursery, cosmetics, household chemicals etc…etc…) will be considered suitable for this position.
Given the man-management element to the role, the business will welcome previous experience of managing sales people. Private label experience is highly valued.
