The Account Manager will be responsible for nurturing and growing business across the West Midlands area.

Description

The responsibilities of the Account Manager will be:
  • To understand the needs and future requirements of hospitality customers through proactive account management
  • To develop long term mutually beneficial relationships with a portfolio of customers
  • To develop a trusted advisor relationship with customers
  • To drive service excellence through close working relationships with contacts
  • To act as a lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your customers
  • To ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • To lead best practice across the business line in the pursuit of service excellence and maximising the customer life cycle
  • To communicate clearly the progress of monthly KPIs to all relevant stakeholders including customer retention, additional sales and customer attraction
  • To forecast and track customer metrics to predict trends. Highlight opportunities and threats to RCAM and/or other appropriate managers
  • To identify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with sales teams to ensure profitable growth
  • To understand quality standards set by the company and agreed with each customer. Retain ownership of the customer service level agreement
  • To analyse lost business and complaint management data and implement appropriate action to reduce these figures every month






Profile

The successful Account Manager will have:
  • Demonstrable experience in sales and/or service management
  • Experience of selling in a B2B environment with an important after sales/service process
  • Service training including negotiation skills
  • Track record in account management and new business
  • An ability to make things happen and solve problems quickly
  • A full driving licence
  • Based within a commutable distance to Birmingham in order to be in the office once to twice a week
