Our client is a luxury food brand and has achieved consistent growth through focused new product development initiatives and some unforgettable marketing campaigns. As a major player within their category and at the forefront of innovation they see category management at the forefront of their commercial growth.

They are now looking to grow their Category team and bring in a high calibre Category Executive who is passionate about making a difference and has the drive and capabilities to transition into a Category manager position in the near future.

Key responsibilities include working across category plans to deliver detailed insights and presenting to key stakeholders. As well as maximising the sales potential of the category through ensuring a shopper focused approach that will benefit the shopper and the retailer. You will work closely with the retailer in recommending range assortment and merchandising proposals in line with the customer business plan by reviewing market and space performance. You will also have the opportunity to input into the direction and execution of new product development.

The successful candidate will currently be in a Shopper, Customer or Category Executive position within the FMCG sector or working agency side in an insight led role. An Excel expert with s trong working knowledge of Nielsen/IRI, TNS, Dunnhumby/Aimia data, and Merchandising software, you will demonstrate the ability to identify and clearly articulate category insights, and be able to turn these insights into results.
