Are you a Senior National Account Manager with experience of working with the major mults? Do you want to work for a successful, well established business who also import to over 20 countries worldwide.

The Advocate Group have partnered with a leading producer of ambient foods who are looking for an Grocery Senior National Account Manager to join their award winning team and take control of key accounts.

Requirements Of The Senior National Account Manager:

  • Building and managing strong relationships
  • Employing innovative sales solutions to deliver value and exceed targets
  • Working closely with the Supply Chain team through forecasting and delivery
  • Working with the Category Insight Manager reporting on the latest developments and trends within the category
  • Compiling commercial presentations to present to the individual customers

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 5+ years sales experience within the commercial retail sector
  • Strong preference for a food industry background although other FMCG products will be considered 
  • Previous exposure of working with/managing UK retailers
  • Hands on account management and ability to manage other team members
  • Ability to influence and negotiate in a confident manner, always maintaining a clear commitment to delivering business results
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Collaborative approach
