Business Development Manager – Premium Soft Drinks

£29,759 to £33,423 Basic plus performance related bonus and car allowance.

Our client is a well-established brand leader in the world of luxury soft drinks, and with an enviable business across both independent retail and garden centres. It would be true to say that they have been concentrating on their very loyal customer base for the past twenty five years, whilst paying less attention to the massive potential available in the market place. The company has recently appointed a new Sales Director, with the specific intention of maximising that potential. This is a very exciting job for anybody who enjoys new business, and is seeking an opportunity to really prove themselves. The product itself is by far the best in the market.

To be considered for this exciting role you should be an experienced Territory manager or BDM, operating in the independent farm shop and / or deli and / or garden centre channel. You will ideally be from a food or drink background having sold a premium / quality product.

A real people person, you will possess the ability to strike up and maintain relationships with buyers very quickly indeed; to assess their needs, and forge solid working relationships with them. You will of course be required to hit new business targets, but as the untouched potential is quite massive, that will not be a problem for anybody prepared to work hard.

The area to be covered includes Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire or Essex. You should ideally live on or near patch.

In return for your dedication and efforts our client is prepared to pay a generous basic salary of between £29,759 to £33,423 plus performance related bonus and car allowance.
