An exciting new opportunity has become available with a well-established business within the homewares and garden industry. The business is going from strength to strength and due to someone moving on from the business after a number of years of service, they are looking to bring in an Area Sales Manager to emulate the success the territory has seen in previous years.
A profitable business for over 40 years, my client is extremely well-established in the market and their products are used worldwide in a variety of different functions.
The ideal candidate for this position will have strong field sales experience across the Midlands & East Anglian territories and will ideally be located in the Northampton/Rugby/Leicester area, as this will give you the best chance to manage the territory effectively. The account base is made up of Garden Centres, Wholesalers, Independent retailers and online accounts, so experience managing some or all of these would be ideal.
This is a home based position so you will need to have the ability to operate from a home office and manage your diary autonomously. You will also need to have a pro-active approach to your sales style, as there will be an element of new business development with the role, along with managing the existing accounts.
