To assist in the account management of specified customers to build profitable sales growth by supporting the Brown Goods sales team.

This role is an excellent opportunity to develop upon the skills required for a National Account Management role and would suit an individual who enjoys responsibility, has a strong personality and drive to achieve results.

Client Details

Our client are an SME Leeds based business looking to appoint a Traine Account Manager to assits alongside the Brown Goods National Account Manager.

Description

  • Work closely with the SNAM and Product Manager to develop with Accounts and achieve the Strategic Plan.
  • Establish a close working relationship with the accounts' trading team, product team, marketing group plus supply & logistics teams.
  • Complete Weekly reports to track - stock & sales / pricing / margins / competitor activity. Summarise findings and make recommendations to the Product and Account Managers based on this analysis.
  • Provide a review of promotional effectiveness.
  • Ensure New Product data such as New Line Forms / Images / Product Videos / Customer Videos are provided to Accounts aligned to launch schedules.
  • Keep updated the SOA Promo Tracker based on SNAMs confirmations to Accounts. Update internally RRP Promo Tracker aligned to agreed plans.
  • Sign off Invoices aligned to Accruals raised - any Invoice issues pass onto the Account Managers to resolve. Log signed invoices within the Accruals Tracker.


  • Day to day contact for both internal and external stakeholders to ensure all ad hoc queries are resolved.
  • Provide assistance to the SNAM and Product Manager in customer presentations and range reviews - e.g. / ordering samples / arranging the venue / preparing and presenting sales analysis / taking meeting notes.
  • Provide assistance to SNAM in monthly Collaborative Forecasting Reviews, update Forecasting PSI File aligned to agreements.
  • Closely manage any aged stock & obsolete opportunities.
  • Accurate and timely administration
  • Cover Account Management role during Sales Managers annual leave
