National Account Manager (Home Based): Retail and Convenience channels
Our client is a large family-owned Wholesaler who are currently turning over a £billion serving into Retail, Foodservice and Convenience channels.
The role of the National Account Manager will be to maximise the potential within existing accounts while driving sales for the company by winning new clients. You will be given the freedom to manage your own diary and while you will be home based, you’ll also be visiting customers in your assigned territory managing relationships and driving sales. Looking after a large portfolio of products, the successful candidate will be selling a wide range of products to customers across your region.
Reporting to the Channel Controller, you will have previous experience in negotiating JBP’s and full P&L responsibilities (essential), selling into retail and convenience customers (ideal). You will be fully responsible for managing all contacts with customers, as well as bringing in new customer through effective business development strategies.
