Established in the 1700's our client specialises in producing a range of body, bath and beauty products to the major grocery and high street retailers.



Description

This is a great opportunity for someone who is wanting to carve out a career within FMCG & Consumer national accounts. Whether you are currently a Junior Account Manager, supporting on national accounts already, or in a FMCG/Consumer field based sales role, or even working within a buying team but would like to get in to sales. The Junior Account Manager vacancy which is a new role due to growth, is a brilliant first step in to national accounts.

Our client is able to offer fantastic career progression as well, as you will have the chance to eventually move up in to a Business Development Manager position.

The Junior Account Manager is a pivotal role within the company, you will be responsible for supporting a Business Development Manager on a national high street or grocery account. The type of accounts my client works with include the likes of Superdrug, Primark, Aldi and Asda to name a few.

You will have the opportunity to gain exposure to the buyers at head office level, and work with an exciting product portfolio of own label skincare, male grooming, baby and hair care categories. The Junior Account Manager will work closely with the retailers on a daily basis and co-ordinate with various stakeholders within their teams, ensuring they are keeping things moving forward and providing a high service level at all times.

Our client is looking for someone who is passionate about the health & beauty industry, driven and has a 'think outside the box' approach!

This is an office based role, Monday to Friday, therefore you must be commutable to the office on a daily basis.



Profile

Key skills and experience required:
  • B2B sales experience is essential, this could be in an office based role working with retailers currently or in a field based sales role within the FMCG/Consumer industry working with independent retailers. My client will also consider candidates from a background in buying.
  • Strong relationship building skills with the ability to deal with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Exposure to/experience of critical path management would be ideal although not essential
  • Exposure to/experience of working with buyers at head office level would be highly beneficial although not essential
  • Ability to work well as a team and also independently with a self-motivated attitude
  • A passion and/or experience in the beauty and cosmetics industry
  • Driven, ambitious and enthusiastic approach
  • Commercially astute
  • A willingness to learn
  • Full, clean driving license as the Junior Account Manager will include some client facing work






Job Offer
  • Basic salary of £25,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience)
