This opportunity has it all and offers a Branded proposition which is growing at a rate of knots and has lots to do in turning around people’s perceptions and what the media and big players have led us to believe!  Up for a fight and making a difference?

 

This FMCG Brand, based central London, have been in operation now for 10+ years and evolved over that time to offer some seriously good for you products.  Growing rapidly, they have built their commercial function out over the last 18 months and now looking for another National Account Manager to take on some retail customers as well as hold a remit for new business development

 

Now then – whilst these guys are not in start-up phase, they have a small team, 15 to be precise who sit in brand spanking new offices with room to grow and could easily double in size here.  They hit the big time 5 years ago and really gained momentum from 2016.  2019 is also set to be a phenomenal year and could easily double the size of the business over night. It’s a pretty exciting time to join but given they’re challenging some big players, this isn’t an easy gig.  You will need to hold the following attributes/ capabilities to succeed here:

  • Self-starter nature who can use initiative – there is no hand holding here
  • Capable of working independently and working autonomously as part of a small commercial team
  • Able to make commercial decisions – everything is set by you here, what you spend, price, margins etc.  You will therefore also have to have a head for numbers.
  • A driver of results and a people person by nature

 

You will report to the Head of Sales and take responsibility for one or two Top 6 Grocery MULTs, and also have a remit for international business working directly with some big Retailers as well as distribution partners.  You must hold FMCG sales experience in national accounts and be able to demonstrate hunger for business development and able to operate strategically yet with agility.
