Description
As the Key Account Manager, reporting in to the Senior National Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing the on trade channel across the Midlands. The Key Account Manager will also have two remotely based Field Sales Executives as direct reports who you will need to manage, mentor and develop.
This is a fantastic and rare opportunity for someone with experience in the on trade industry, who is keen to progress. Whilst people management experience would be beneficial, it isn't essential.
The Key Account Manager will ideally be based within the Birmingham area, or at least within a commutable distance.
Profile
Key skills and experience required:
- On trade experience within the drinks channel is essential (ideally spirits & wine, beer or cider)
- People management experience would be ideal although not an essential requirement
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Proven track record in account management and new business
- Enthusiastic, passionate and driven approach
- Strong IT skill set - especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Full, UK driving license
- Based in the Midlands
