National Sales Manager – consumer retail sector, home decor products to independents

Our client is a well established International manufacturer and distributor of high end, luxury life style lighting products sold to high street independents, retail multiples and wholesale channels. With expansion plans, including new product ranges and revenue streams, this is an exciting time to become a key figure within the Company, driving the business forward with your entrepreneurial flair and leadership qualities.
Your responsibilities will include day to day management of the Company’s UK sales operation and National sales team including man management, sales meetings, promotions and initiatives, budgeting (implementing and monitoring), strategic planning, account management as well as influencing range and category development and analysing business intelligence opportunities.
The ideal candidate would be an experienced hands on sales manager selling home decor products into the high street independents and multiple retailers with an understanding of retail and recent industry changes and developments. You will have personal responsibility for some house accounts whilst managing, motivating and educating the sales team with imaginative strategies and initiatives.
You should have a track record of sales growth and team development working within a £10m+ Company, be professional, ambitious and an achiever. Related industries include: furniture, fabrics, interiors, electrical, high end retail products although consideration will also be given to dynamic, sales innovators, commercially astute managers
Key criteria for this role is: Sales Management experience of motivating a sales team selling home decor products into the High Street retailers with strong inspirational and entrepreneurial leadership qualities
