The company:

Our client is a well-established and highly respected business within the home textiles industry. With an impressive portfolio of products, they are a leading supplier to retail customers across the UK.

The role:

To support their continuing growth my client now requires a Territory Sales Manager to be responsible for maximising existing sales whilst generating new sales of the company’s home textile ranges to independent retail customers across London and the South East region.

A field-based role, you will be managing sales across your given territory of London and the South East. You will be responsible for servicing existing customers whilst also actively prospecting for additional sales opportunities on your territory to grow sales across the region.

The person:

With the flexibility to travel across the territory you will ideally have sold to an independent retail customer base. Whilst not essential, experience of the home textiles, furnishings or similar industry will be an advantage, but my client will also consider candidates from other product categories who have experience of selling other product ranges to independent retail customers.

You will be a self-motivated, organised individual capable of demonstrating initiative. With dynamic and positive can-do attitude, you will be keen to manage and develop your own territory within a market leading business.

The ideal candidate will be located in London, Kent, Surrey, Sussex or Hampshire.

Salary:

£25,000 - £35,000 basic (depending on experience) + c. £5,000 commission (paid on all sales), company car, mobile phone and benefits.
