Job Title: Export Sales Manager - Health & Beauty

Location: Home based with significant travel across region

Reporting to: Sales Director

CSG are currently partnered with a market leading residual stock distributor turning over £52m P/A, looking for an Export Sales Manager to drive new business globally. The successful candidate will join a vibrant, dynamic team of 16 who cover both UK & International Sales. The position will have a key focus on the Health & Beauty sector of the business. This is a rare opportunity to work autonomously to drive profitability and succeed in international growth.

The Role:

Export Sales Manager - Home-based

We are looking for a fantastic networker, with strong relationships in global regions, who will be responsible for helping to shape the regional strategy. You will be identifying key target retailers, agents or distributors in line with the global strategy and driving new business within them.

You will be responsible for working with us to determine the financial budgets and targets to be set for our international sales and it goes without saying that you will then be responsible for managing and reporting on these budgets to keep us informed of your progress.

What you will need to do:

  • Establish a clear, focused business development strategy and plan will be key to realising our true international potential - focused on building strength and depth in a small number of large markets.
  • Building on and leveraging your existing key retailer relationships along with identifying and developing new, relevant contacts and relationships through both your network and own direct efforts.
  • Understanding the category and category drivers will be key to you developing a compelling profitable market proposition.
  • Understanding the route to market options will be critical, along with the cost-to-serve structures associated with these, and the with the ability to help source and manage any relevant 3rd party partners to help realise the market opportunity.

 


It is vital that you have held an Export position for 3+ years. You will be entrepreneurial, a self-starter, love a new challenge and an excellent networker, confident working independently, whilst valuing and welcoming the insight, support and direction of a larger, successful organisation who values & rewards success.

You will be able to demonstrate real success in selling to, managing and developing sales with large retail businesses that are like the UK major grocers, pharmacy and major department stores.
