National Account Manager – Amazon – Consumer Goods – Home-based

Our client is a market leading non-food consumer goods brand, currently dominating their prospective product category. Company turnover is in excess of £100 million, this is a household brand prominent with UK consumers. The business supplies major UK retailers across grocery, online, department stores and high street. They are profitable, ethical and environmentally friendly. The business has won a number of recent awards to demonstrate this success. Culturally they value employees and look to progress people from within. An opportunity has arisen for a National Account Manager to join the business as part of the e-commerce division.

As National Account Manager your main priority will be the Amazon account, a key customer for the business. Our client is already trading and delivering a substantial level of business with this customer. The candidate will need to have the ability to work cross-functionally, look at new marketing strategies to continue the growth of this customer. An understanding of vendor central and Amazon’s systems would be highly beneficial. The role will offer variety and will also involve looking after other online retail accounts such as Shop Direct and Wayfair. This role offers to play a big part in the future growth of the e-commerce channel, this person has the potential to fast track their career to the next level.

In order to be considered for this National Account Manager opportunity you will need to have experience of managing Amazon, ideally to a high level. Candidates with other online retail experience will be considered. Product experience is less important, however a background in non-food consumer goods is preferable. For example - consumer electronics, housewares or toys. It’s a fast-paced environment so you must be comfortable working under pressure and to tight deadlines. You must be bright, commercially savvy and keen to progress your National Account Manager career.
