Description
Key Account Manager
- Work under the direction of the National Account Manager, to help win new business whilst creating and delivering the retails sales plan.
- Securing new accounts for each brand whilst Managing existing accounts.
- Developing a strategic New Business development plan with the National Account Manager
- Work cross-functionally and be knowledgeable within all areas of the account including buying, marketing, promotional activity and range planning.
- Influence range plan development and product innovation.
- Work with Supply Chain to manage production levels.
- Accurate entering and maintenance of product, production, sales and forecasting data.
- Processing sales and purchase orders.
- Providing regular reports and analysis on product line and category performance.
Profile
Key Account Manager
- 3+ years FMCG Field Sales or Key Account Management (food, drink or health products)
- Professional, commercially astute and aware of what the competition are doing.
- Focused on winning New Business
- Confident, motivated and determined.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Have a high attention to detail with great presentation skills.
- An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- Be able to build outstanding customer relationships and have perfect 'people skills'.
- Great organisational and time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Proven competency in numerical and analytical skills.
- Experienced working with and Managing the P&L for the accounts they have worked with.
- Experience of promotional activity planning and measurement.
- Experience of NPD and launch processes.
- Successful track record in delivering sales growth.
- Strong drive and desire to be successful.
