The role of the Social Media Executive involves implementing the online marketing strategy in order to grow and better engage multiple brands audience via social media.
The purpose of the role is to oversee the organic social media activity, including the content promoted across numerous social platforms, responding to messages and comments in order to maximise reach and engagement and simultaneously reducing the impact of any negative engagements. This includes working with the PR & Social Media Manager and Senior Social Media Executive to deliver engaging campaigns across the platforms to rival key competitors.

In addition, the post holder will need to work with other teams such as video, design and the digital media team in order to maximise the benefit for social media.
The Social Media Executive will be an ambassador for Social Media across the business, with a good knowledge of the company from a consumer perspective as well as it's processes, properties and people.

We're looking for previous digital marketing experience, an understanding of social media principals and how social fits into the wider marketing mix. You'll need strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills, and be proactive and passionate about social media. Previous copywriting experience is essential, and knowledge of Adobe Photoshop/Indesign would be advantageous.
