The Client
Our client is a highly successful global FMCG business that is looking to recruit a highly experienced Plant Manager into a high profile strategic site that is undergoing significant capital investment to increase capacity.
The Role
As Plant Manager, you provide leadership and management to the complete site whilst taking ownership for the development and delivery of the site strategic objectives. You will continue to drive and embed a continuous improvement culture throughout the site to maximise growth and performance. Working closely with an experienced management team you will lead key strategic forward looking change initiatives and operational projects around capital investment, performance and cultural change. You will take ownership for the latter stages of a considerable capital investment for the site to increase capacity, but will embed this new equipment into the site and focus on ensuring it`s efficient commissioning and scale up.
About you
As a degree qualified experienced Plant Manager, you will have a proven track record in leading a fast paced manufacturing site to maximise performance and output. With well developed communication skills, you will have the ability to inspire your teams to success whilst giving confidence and to customers and Group. Previous success in managing change and improvement through your teams, embedding a positive continuous improvement culture and implementing capital projects will enable you to add value to this high profile, strategic site within the Group. Previous experience gained in food, pharma or packaging would be highly advantageous.
